The former president of Brazil called for the protection of the rights of the Palestinian people

The Former Brazilian President Lula da Silva called for the protection of the rights of the Palestinian people, especially the right to establish an independent state.

In a TV interview, Da Silva, the Brazilian presidential candidate, stressed the need to review the structure and policies of the United Nations in order to address important global issues, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

He also called for a violation of the US veto in the Security Council so that countries around the world could easily vote in favor of the Palestinian people.

Da Silva stressed that candidates in Brazil must take a fair and balanced stance on the Palestinian issue so that Brazil can return to its position as a world leader.

In an interview with the Quds Press, Nilto Tato, a member of the Brazilian Congress, stated that Da Silva supported the right of the Palestinian people for self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state during his presidency.
